A tune for the Eva Three Step was requested by Derek’s wife Sue. Both are great Scottish music and dance enthusiasts, I first made contact with them when they lived in the Falkland Islands.
In memory of Jane Singleton from Kippen who died aged 50 after a 8 year battle with breast cancer. She is survived by husband Peter and 3 children, Rosie, Isla & Keir.
(March) Craigearn is between Castle Fraser and Kemnay. I wrote this tune for Margaret Simpson and her sister Marie who were brought up there when their parents George and Mary Malcolm owned and worked the farm. The family home was sold in 2013.
May is from Forfar where I met her at the Accordion & Fiddle Club. She was brought up in the countryside and worked in animal health with the Ministry of Agriculture.
Composed for the occasion of Neil Snr's 80th birthday on 11th July 2010. Neil is from Blairgowrie and once owned the Moorfield House Hotel where the Blairgowrie Accordion & Fiddle Club was held when I started playing.
(Hornpipe) I worked on the Traditional Music Course at Perth College for 4 years. The Atomic Kelpie was the name of one of the groups that emerged from the course and needed a tune for one of their sets.
(March) This is for pipers Greg & Mandy Wilson from New Zealand. When they lived in Scotland Greg gave my son Fraser some expert tuition on the bagpipes.

Ron's wife Ailison asked me to write something as a surprise for his 65th birthday. I taught Ron to play accordion for several years. He lived in Blairgowrie but sadly passed away in January 2016.
